IN ANYKSCIAI
ST. MATHEW’S CHURCH

May was a month when Museum employees held another exhibition in an unusual place. On Anyksciai Church Rector St. Krumpliauskas’ welcoming agreement, there was an exhibition of Liturgy Clothes presented in the Church. The exhibition was dedicated to clergymen Antanas Baranauskas and Klemensas Kairys both of whom came from Anyksciai. There are more than 30 chasubles, cloaks and stoles of the Church are being displayed. The central showpiece is Baranauskas’ chasuble brought from Seiny, Poland.
