This year the Museum is inviting the guests looking for romantics and taking interest in ancient history to visit Seimyniskeliai mound. There is a panorama platform that is under construction now. The tower containing the platform is going to include historic expositions and a souvenir-stall. The fundamental circle of the logs of the tower was laid down on the 1st of May, the day of Lithuania’s joining the EU. Symbolically Artūras Zuokas Mayor of Vilnius, laid down the first log thus becoming a patron of the future wooden castle on the mound. This is where history lessons for students coming from all the Republic have been taking place since spring. There they can shoot a bow, cast a spear and try to fulfill some other tasks.
